A bit of history about Paul –
Paul has been working for over 26 years and the three categories that he specialized in during his apprenticeship were Plumbing, Drainage and Gas-fitting. After spending a number of years working for private companies, his career took a change working for Urban Utilities, formerly known as Brisbane Water, in the Brisbane City Council.
- with ‘live water’ or water under extreme pressure, gave Paul a good grounding of both knowledge and experience in dealing with trunk mains, water mains and individual water meters.
- as a water meter inspector, Paul gained invaluable experience working with the public. A time he really enjoyed, with all the positive feedback he received for his natural ability in customer care.
The feedback he received regarding the service he provided was excellent, with praise given for his work, conduct and manners. A Council restructure & offer of redundancy gave Paul the opportunity of going into business for himself. ADrains Precision Plumbing Pty Ltd is the result of that decision.
Some Recent Projects Have Included:
- Unblocking and maintenance of the toilets at several Childcare Centres
- Installing bubblers (drinking fountains) at a local school
- Maintenance at a dental clinic
- Fitting out of a building that’s being renovated from an old car-sales yard into a Veterinary Clinic.
Did you know?
Many people like the thought of having a go at plumbing themselves to save on costs. There’s plenty of information around for home renovators to do-it-yourself.
What many folks don’t know is that the law is black and white when it comes to working on the plumbing systems in and around your home or business.
If the job at hand entails much beyond the changing of a tap washer or a shower-head then you will most likely need to engage the services of a licensed plumber.
With fines in place for illegal work and insurance companies refusing to pay up if there are any problems / unexpected outcomes resulting from the DIY work, it should make you want to reconsider and call in a licensed plumber!
A compliance certificate is required in most states from any tradesman you get for plumbing, drainage work or gas fitting, just the same as for an electrician.
This certificate guarantees that any work carried out will comply with the Australian Standards in place and protect you against defective work.
Fortunately, if you have any work that has been done that needs certifying, you can have it assessed by a qualified professional. Why not give Paul at ADrains Precision Plumbing Pty Ltd. a call & all being well, gain that certification. Fees will, of course, apply. If further work is required, we may be able to assist in gaining that certification.
